Dr. Bowers developed a mobile app to help children and teens improve their social skills that has been downloaded in over 60 countries and was being used by special education professionals and their students in elementary schools, high schools, and colleges around the world. 

Dr. Bowers published a book in 2011, Improving Social Skills with Children and Adolescents, and his book, 8 Keys to Raising the Quirky Child was published internationally by W.W. Norton & Co. in 2015.
